What is Aviation Sheetmetal?

The Aviation Sheetmetal Boot Camp equips students with the skills needed for a career in aviation fabrication. Over the course of five weeks, participants will master the fundamentals of industry-standard aerospace sheetmetal construction and repair.

The Aviation Sheetmetal pathway map will help you gain the expertise needed to:

• Learn the basics of industry-standard aerospace sheetmetal construction and repair.
• Gain proficiency in manufacturing techniques, equipment evaluation, and structural repairs using drills, rivet guns, and other tools.  
• Participants will be trained to work on various aircraft assemblies and systems using detailed instructions and plans..

  1. 1. Complete the Interest Form below.

2. Follow the email instructions to take the Pre-Assessment test. 

3. Upon successfully passing the Pre-Assessment test, select the class you want to enroll in. 
4. Complete the required Admissions steps for Chandler-Gilbert Community College.
5. Your campus navigator will confirm your enrollment via a phone call, text, or email.

Cost

Tuition and course fees: $485 tuition, $95 course fees, $15 registration fee = Total $595

 

For the Fall 2026 semester, students may be eligible for a $580 tuition stipend, which fully covers Arizona resident tuition and course fees (or partially covers non-resident tuition). Students will still be responsible for the $15 registration fee. The stipend will be awarded upon successful completion of the class with a C or better. Students who do not meet this requirement will be responsible for paying tuition and fees.
