Presented by Maricopa Community Colleges Healthcare Education Department and the Arizona Clinical Education Consortium (AzCEC)

All academic, community, and healthcare stakeholders interested in advancing healthcare education in Arizona, facility leadership, management, and workforce development are invited to attend the virtual Spring 2024 Centralized Healthcare Orientation!

Our Spring 2024 orientation will focus on training and development for all new healthcare faculty and staff. It will also serve as a refresher training session for others.

 

Our training sessions will cover best practices and how to successfully implement health & safety requirements and clinical coordination processes within your programs. You will also learn from student placement and background check vendors on how to utilize their systems, manage the student clinical placement process and more.

This session is intended for new clinical coordinators. You will learn the history, processes, guiding principles and best practices of the Nursing Clinical Collaborative. You will also learn about the peer to peer (mentor) program and resources available to support your role.

Health & Safety Best Practices

This session will review health & safety best practices for clinical placements. You will learn tools and tips to onboarding and ensuring your students are compliant. You will also learn how to review compliance in myClinicalExchange and best practices for a successful academic year.

American DataBank will provide a brief refresher training and overview of the system.
