Approximately 15,000 openings for Medical Records Specialists are expected each year, on average, over the decade.


The U.S. Department of Labor also reports that the median annual wage for Medical Records Specialists was $48,780 in May 2023. Keep in mind that pay rates vary depending on geographic location and experience.
